Holly’s passion for health and wellness began as a child. She comes from a long line of physicians and nurses. Her father, a surgeon, was a pioneer in teaching his patients the importance of preventive health, laughter and practicing compassion for living a balanced life. Holly graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Nursing.
In 1978, she moved to North Carolina and has lived there since. After several years of working with her husband in a non health related business, Holly was introduced to alternative health care. She completed massage training at Carolina School of Massage in 1995. In her private practice she has treated hundreds of clients with a wide variety of health concerns.
Holly’s interest in working with cancer patients began while working as a nurse on an oncology unit at Duke University Medical Center. She has traveled the journey with members of her own family. In addition to her private practice, Holly provides massage at Cornucopia House, a non-profit organization serving cancer patients and their caregivers. She offers hand, foot and chair massage as a volunteer at a cancer treatment center.
